About Me

My photo
Triumphant Birth Services
Keller, TX, United States
My name is Katie Perez and I am a birth doula certified with BAI (Birth Arts International) and a student midwife studying in the Mercy in Action midwifery training program. I also sit on the board of directors for a non-profit organization called Special Scars Special Women. I am a wife and mom to 4 beautiful children. Ask me about my own Triumphant Birth, my VBA3C after inverted T! I believe that women are created to grow and birth babies, and that all women deserve to be supported and nurtured through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Birth is one of God's greatest miracles and it is a privilege to serve other women in this capacity. I have a soft spot in my heart for women who, for whatever reason, find themselves fighting an uphill battle to have a natural birth, and especially for VBAC mamas. A Triumphant Birth is in even more meaningful to us! My desire as a doula is to help women achieve their very best birth! God-willing I am planning to become a homebirth midwife and do mission work to help mamas less fortunate in other parts of the world.
